Best on Budget: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8

For the approximately 190 euros that you pay for the Tab A8, you get a lot of useful functionalities. With a 10.5-inch touchscreen, you can easily operate all your apps and text can be read clearly. The Tab A8 is fast enough for simple tasks such as reading text files or taking online lessons. The battery can easily last a school day and with the camera on the back you can shoot a photo here and there. This one isn’t the highest quality, but it works just fine. The tablet contains four speakers, so you can hear audio clearly. The entry-level model of the Galaxy Tab A8 has 32GB of storage space. If you pay about 20 euros more, you get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 with 64GB of storage. This allows you to store even more photos, notes or PDF files. With the Galaxy Tabs, Samsung is one of the best-known manufacturers of Android tablets. As with the smartphone line, Samsung has both a premium and budget tablet line. The Tab A8 is the budget brother of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, which we crown as the best tablet of the moment.

If you have about 300 euros to spend, then this Lenovo Tab P11 Plus is for you. With a smooth chip and clear 11-inch screen, this is a good companion while studying. The tablet comes with Android 11 out of the box and supports all kinds of school apps. The processor really shines in this price segment and you notice that. Simple tasks such as surfing the internet and reading files are no match for this P11 Plus. The metal housing ensures that the tablet feels premium and with USB-C, stereo speakers and Bluetooth you have little to complain about. Only the resolution of the selfie camera is on the low side and there is no fingerprint scanner on board. However, both are not essential for a positive user experience. The entry-level model of the Lenovo Tab P11 Plus comes with 128GB of storage. That’s not bad for the price of 275 euros. If you want more storage, you can expand it yourself with a micro SD card up to 1TB. Handy if it turns out that you need more storage.
