Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will start in two months, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro could be discontinued in advance.

There are said to have been corresponding signs that the Pixel 6 smartphones will soon no longer be available. It is typical for Google that current smartphones are quickly discontinued when the successor is just around the corner. We also have corresponding signals in Germany.

Google prepares for launch of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro

Colleagues in the USA have made an exciting observation, where some of the current Pixel 6 models are no longer available in their own shop. What is meant here is the Fi Store, through which Google offers its own mobile phone products. A clear sign of the first bottlenecks, because Google is not delivering any new copies.

And here in Germany, the prices are falling more and more at shorter intervals. Also a sign of the imminent end of the devices. So Google is clearing out the warehouses before the Pixel 7 models arrive in about two months. Which also means that you can still make a few bargains until October.

Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro details known so far:

    6.3 (90 Hz) and 6.7 inch (120 Hz) OLED displays

    Google Tensor 2 processor (GS201), possibly 4 nmModem with 5G from Samsung

  • Completely new design for camera bar
  • Camera technology remains almost unchanged
  • 4K selfies and Pro front camera on Pixel 7
  • New sensor for Pixel 7 Pro zoom camera
    Pixel 7 slightly smaller than Pixel 6

  • Hall sensor for magnet detection hinged sleeves
  • Colours
    Pixel 7: Obsidian, Snow, Lemongrass
    Pixel 7 Pro: Obsidian, Snow, Hazel
  • Android 13 factory installed
  • Market launch in autumn 2022
