Man charged after Meadow Lake altercation leaves one dead

According to a media release, at about 10:30 p.m., officers were called to a home in Meadow Lake for a report of an altercation between two men taking place outside. RCMP say Quintal, 45, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and died several days later. The 19-year-old man was arrested on August 2 and charged with manslaughter. He was released on conditions and will make his next appearance in Meadow Lake provincial court on Tuesday.
