Delhi Metro Section IV: Alstom wins mega DMRC order for 312 metro automobiles

The contract awarded by the Delhi Metro Rail Company (DMRC) is value €312 million. 

It consists of design and manufacturing of 234 customary gauge metro automobiles for Line 7 extension (Pink Line 12.558 km) on the Mukundpur– Maujpur hall, and the Line 8 extension (Magenta Line 28.92 km) for the Janakpuri West – RK Ashram hall; design and manufacture of 78 customary gauge metro automobiles for the 23.622 km silver line between Aerocity and Tughlakabad, together with 15-year upkeep of those 78 automobiles .  

Alstom will provide its class-leading Metropolis practice units for this order. Alstom has delivered greater than 800 metro automobiles which might be in service for the Delhi Metro community.
