“For me, I simply got here to the fittings and I put the costume on,” the Nice Gatsby alum stated. “I feel the costume division—that was actually a job and there have been many, many hours [of work]. Many hours.”
All of this preparation, Debicki defined, went into a very memorable day on set on the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens—the identical spot the place Diana wore the costume in 1994.
“It is a highly effective costume,” the actress defined. “It is a completely distinctive costume too—the construction of it, the form of it, the look of it—and so I definitely will not ever neglect that day on set.
